VimpelCom RAS net profit falls 60.9% to 4.6 bln rbl in Jan–Jun
MOSCOW, Aug 14 (PRIME) -- The net profit of mobile operator VimpelCom, working under brand Beeline, decreased by 60.9% on the year to 4.601 billion rubles in January–June, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said on Friday in a statement.
Revenue fell by 5.9% to 133.001 billion rubles. Sales revenue plunged by 32% to 18.896 billion rubles. The gross profit shrank 12.3% to 66.716 billion rubles.
Long-term liabilities narrowed 24.9% in January–June to 182.208 billion rubles as of June 30, while short-term liabilities widened 39.5% to 161.585 billion rubles.
